Join us July 19th at 8:15 PM for an evening walk to observe and identify Owls, Bats, and Bugs with wildlife biologist and small mammal expert Julie Zeyzus. Utilizing ultrasonic detecting equipment and software, we will be able to “listen” to bats in real time and other critters our software can interpret.

Come help with conservation, stewardship and maintenance tasks on July 19, 2025. We expect to be either assisting our goats in controlling Japanese barberry and Japanese spiraea in previously inhabited areas.

Come help with conservation, stewardship and maintenance tasks at Rolling Ridge Conservancy on April 26, 2025. As we do not yet have our spring plants, we plan to work on invasive plant removal to keep our forest in balance. Depending on weather conditions we expect to be either assisting our goats in controlling Japanese barberry and Japanese spiraea in previously inhabited areas, or digging lesser celandine in the lowlands adjacent the Shenandoah River.
